    I'm currently writing a programe in prolog ,it's and adventure game. when the users enters a direction i want to move and describe the new area but i also want ot clear the screen ne deas on how i'd do that .

    Which interpreter are you using? An interpreter-agnostic method is to simply print a lot of blank lines.
