    Hi Folks

I was wondering if you can help me .I have sky digital at home
Recently i have noticed small wavey white lines through the picture, like ripples on water (sorry its the only desricption i could think of )
When i power off the sky using the remote, i can see a channel trying to come through on the station i have sky stored on .To me it looks like BBC .
I have tried re-tuning the sky to a different station number but still when i power off the sky i can see this channel trying to break through on screen

I had this problem before and it disapeared , but now back again,

Has anyone any ideas whats causing this or how do i get rid of it

When i look at a footbal match for example, the picture is not pefect, the waves can be seen on screen

Any help greatly appreciated .I want to get rid of this channel coming in behind sky.It is doing my head in !!

    thanks

This sounds a little puzzling. I understand that you have Sky feeding an RF signal somewhere? But I don't get whether that's how you are watching Sky on your primary TV? Surely that's a SCART connection?

It seems likely that this is signal leakage through your connections... maybe as follows.... many TVs feed signal out through incoming SCART cables. for example you may be able to look at your TV config and see AV2 output as coming from tuner/AV1/AV3 etc etc. My suspicion is that the TV is tuned to the offending channel.... or maybe the VCR is.... and the signal is then leaking through a poorly shielded SCART cable into the Sky input. if this seems likely, try to change the AV output to a neutral input where there is no signal.

    Ix.

Have you gone Services 4 0 1 Select
    (Install Menu)
    Change RF channel of Digibox.

    hi folks

thanks for the advice, i will have a play round with it this evening to see what i come up with, i wouldnt be too technically minded on what cables mean what etc and what should be feeding off what, normally i would get a mate to fix it up for me but he has now moved away from the area
hopefully i will have a bit of luck, the back of my television is a mine field of cables !!

Have you tried connecting the Digibox to the television using a Scart cable? It should sort out any cross-channel interfernce.
