Slightly off topic, but I'm selling a set of irons here that may interest you...

McGuirks always have good new years deals.
Just got a pair of shoes- 20% off.
I didn't realy look at clubs, but did notice 10% of Ping G2 drivers.

They usually have huge discounts on teeshirts etc

The new Progolf shop in Raheen in Limerick is a good place for prices. They always seem to be a little bit more keenly priced than some of the others around here.

If your only starting the best place to go is to Heatons. Strange I know but they got in sets at good prices. I got a set of Donnay Evelution 2 including Bag full set of Graphite Irons and woods and putter. All for e150. Can't go to wrong. There a fine club and even though I play a nice bit they will do me perfectly. Recently saw that they have a nice Dunlop set in as well. Not the best makes in the world but I'd take a chance on them rather than some obscure foreign name.

Also, what does "Hybrid" mean when it comes to golf clubs?
I was offered 2nd hand WILSON HYBRID GE 1200 for €150.

A hybrid is a cross between a wood and an iron, almost like a small wood

Even when that place is having a 40% off sale they are still horribly! overpirced :(, and the staff are not very friendly either.

I'd agree with Jesper, the one in Blanch Centre has got two different full sets in the last time I looked, one for €139 and one for €159, including golf bag, umbrellas etc. Worth a look anyway.
