    Hi all,

I am buying a photo printer in the next few weeks and I'm looking for advice.

I have a 7 megapixel camera, and I want something fairly good (however also good value on price/ink/paper). I dont mind spending a bit more if I can be guaranteed higher print/photo quality.

    Any recommendations?

Well if your looking for an A3 printer and don't mind spending the money i highly recommend the Epson R1800. I read all the reviews and it seemed too good to be true but when i forked out the €600 on it i found it was money well spent, Borderless A3+ Prints are amazing, cannot praise the printer enough.
I've always stuck with Epson for printers coz they are pretty much top dog in my opinion, if you don't need A3 and only looking for A4 then the Epson R800 Seems like a good bet too.

Have the R800 here, has 8 colours, inc. a gloss and two types of black. One set of cartridges lasted us about 6 months, very fast and very very good quality.

If you are going to be printing out a lot of photos, I would recommend any printer that has seperate ink tanks so you don't have to replace a colour cartridge that has only used up all the blue for example.

I have a canon Pixima 4000. Great quality on normal A4 paper and fantastic on pro/photo paper.

I am also planning to buy an epson printer soon. PC World have an RX620 for 299, I reckon i need the multifunction bit cos I live in an apt and don't have room for separate scanners etc, and the copier bit looks dead handy. I am only going to get it though if i can get the bluetooth adapter for it, can find one anywhere, even on the net. Komplett don't do them.
If anyone has any suggestions where I might get (shop or net) the printer or bluetooth thing id be really grateful.

Also in the market for a 1GB XD card for my camera, is komplett the best deal out there...? (90), amazon do them for £45 but won't ship it to ireland...?

    Thanks
