Dealer's choice

In our weekly house-game, we play two freeze-out tournaments first, then dealer's choice. All players seem to have their favorite game and after a while you simply know what is gonna be played (because of who's dealing). I want some more variation. :)

So...here are the games I know of. Can anyone add to this list? P-cards per player, U-cards to use from hand, C-community cards (per betting round), T-last better chooses cards to turn, V-best visible hand acts first, A-last better acts first, L-high/low playable.
    • 1-line lebanese: P5, U2, C11111, A, L
    • 2-lines lebanese: P5, U2, C22222 (choice of 2 lines of 5 cards), A, L
    • 3-lines lebanese: P5, U2, C33333 (choice of 3 lines of 5 cards), A, L
    • 5-card roll-your-own: P2111, U5 (choose a card to place face-up, so 4 up and 1 down at the end), V
    • 7-card stud: P31111, U5 (cards 3-6 face-up), V, L
    • Bangeroo: P5, U2, C22221 (tic-tac-toe setup, choice of 8 lines of 3 cards, middle card turns last), T, A, L
    • Clock: P5, U2, C22221 (in a circle, choice of any 3 neighbouring cards), T, A, L
    • Irish poker: P4, U0-2, C311 (discard 2 cards after flop)
    • Omaha: P4, U2, C311, L
    • Pineapple: P3, U0-2, C311 (discard 1 card after flop)
    • Slide: Same as 1-/2-line(s) lebanese with 1, 2 or 3 'sliding' cards (i.e. single cards in between the 2 lines that count for either line), L
    • Southern cross (all cards): P5, U0-5, C11111 in a cross (choice of 2 lines of 3 cards), A
    • Southern cross (middle card & its 3 brothers wild): P5, U2, C11111 in a cross (choice of 2 lines of 3 cards), A
    • Texas hold'em: P2, U0-2, C311

Not listed are pure gambling games like draw poker and sweat.

Rolling joker, same as 5 card choose your own except any one of your cards is wild.

    The leg:

5 cards in hand and then Five cards dealt in an L shape like this:
    x
    x

One card is turned face up by dealer
A round of betting takes place and the next card is turned face up by player who put in last bet. This carries on until all cards face up, the corner card is always the last to be turned face up. You make your best hand from either the vertical or horizontal line. This is usually play half pot limit and you can deal two legs and turn a card from each on every round. The pot is then split between the best hand from each leg. Sometimes when playing one leg the pot can be split between the best horizontal and bets vertical line.

Seven card stud high low roll your own with a mickey.

That must be the longest name ever for a poker game that we played years ago. Pity I can't remember a thing about it. :)

How many cards must one use from the hand, exactly 2 or 0-5?

That is an interesting variant. Since its almost like Omaha except that instead of "use any 5 community cards" you get "use this one community card in combination with either these 2 or the other 2". This means that the "drawback" of Omaha opposed to Texas hold'em, a.k.a. "you need (a draw to) the nuts", is counteracted.

Gonna try this one out next Monday. :)

Follow the Queen is another good game It's like 7 card except with wild cards. Cards dealt in the same way as 7 card. Two hole cards. Each get a card turned up and then a round of betting. This happens 4 times and then a final hole card. Betting in dictated by the strongest hand showing. The way the wild cards work is that queens are always wild and the card that is dealt after a queen becomes wild. If another queen comes out the card that follows that becomes wild and the previous one goes back to normal. Good for small betting as the hand can be turned on it's head by a change of wild card.
