Just wondering if boards members hold home games for members of the site. It would be nice to get a little league going.

((If i set up an online league would people be interested?))

When the forum started there used to be loads of home games, I had a few, Mr Pudding had several as did Muso and others. Getting drunk and accusing people of "having none of it!" were as important as winning.
Then the BSOP took over and we had a few months of rotating home games that added up to a final leaderboard.

Dunno if a league would work again as you'd need people to be able to commit to several evenings over a couple of weeks/months.
    Old-skool drunken cash games ftw.

The BSOP is not a dead idea but finding time to organise it is the problem and as Luke says getting everyone to turn up to the games was problematic. In any case as soon as I clean my spare room I think I'll get some home games going again. A word of warning though we don't take it too seriously. The home games were often dealers choice with several new and never played since type of games.

There was some very creative thinking put into those games all the same.:)
