Models in fashion mags... Not always what they seem

Found this great site that's funded by the Swedish Government.
They're running a campaign to inform young people about just how manipulative the media can be and what they can do against it.

This site just gives an example of all the tricks of the trade Fashion Magazines use to "sex-up" their models.... the same figure that the young readers strive to aspire to.

Have a look at each of the 12 example and then a total before & after.

Makeup and preparation is one thing, but never forget the amount of trickery that's included once the final shoot is done.
I think this serves as a warning that many girls (and probably us blokes too) are over aspiring to try and get a "perfect" look.... just look at the orange fake / over-application of makeup etc..

The idea that people are touched up digitally is just an idea to make ugly people feel better about them selves. :v:

Pffft! I clicked off all the augmentations and the model ended up looking even hotter. This page was probably just commisioned by some jealous feminist.

Oh my gosh, she's fourteen. Well, this web site achieved its goal of making me feel better about myself. I think I'll go diet now.

Ah in fairness now she was no giselle bundchen to begin with!!! :v:
Take everything with a pinch of salt, most images in magazines are perfected to unrealistic heights anyway. It's obvious.

She looks like a girl in TY in the local CBS! Not saying anything bad in that but usually all these "model" things you see in magazines don't look normal. The first thing that always pops into my mind about anyone in any sort of limelight is "Their teeth cannot be that white"
