I've decide that since my sony digital camera is broken and sony want to charge me a ridiculas amount to get it fixed that i'm just going to get a new one.

So my question is what would be the best digital camera around at the moment..
My budget would be around the 200-300 mark

    Thanks

Canon Powershot A620. It's around €320 incl postage from www.amazon.co.uk.

Casio Exilim.. probably the Z500. Around the €250 mark from technikdirekt.

A very useful site to peruse when trying to decide which camera is for you is www.dpreview.com. By the way, note that if buying from technikdirekt the camera manual will invariably be in German so be sure you can download an english one from the manufacturer's website. You can do this with Canon certainly but I don't know about Casio, etc.
