Does anyone know if the likes of these aerials from CNet available on Komplett:

    http://www.komplett.ie/k/kl.asp?bn=10280

will attach to any bog standard wirless router/adaptor, or more specifically a Netgear wireless adsl router (DG834G).

Also, any recommendation which antenna would give the best bang for the buck? Need to boost the wirless signal as we have one computer dropping sporadically, usually signal is on "low".

I'm not sure, to be honest. (bumpety)
I think it's antennae with an RP-SMA connection that you want- unless you want to add adaptors/additional cables.

    =
CNet Directional Antenna 6dBi 2.4GHz,w/100 cm cable, RP-SMA connector
CNet Omni Directional Antenna 3/5 dBi 2.4/5 GHz,w/100 cm cable, RP-SMA

Where is the router based? And in relation to the clients (Distance, angles, obstructions)? (This should determine which antennae type is desired or whether a repeater is better)
    (Omni Directional typically desired)

I reckon you could be right on those two. Basically, the router is upstairs, and the reciever is down stairs.
