AC/DC - "She shook me all night long" would be a good one to lose the plot to at 12 tonight. What song would you like to hear first in 2006 at your club/pub/house party tonight?

there's no poppy or rocky song that i can think of tbh

so i'll have to stick with my favourite dance tune... "OD404 - Beat dis (OD404 mix)"
not a snowball's chance in hell of hearing that though, unless it's played by me:o

Seperate question; what did you actually end up hearing at 12 on Saturday? The club I was in the DJ went with U2 New Years Day

    lol!!
The DJ must have read my post! :D

Was in the Village.... the last song was Galvanise by the Chemical Bros... then they hit 2006 with Madonna "Hung up"!
Bit of a stinker tbh.... thought they'd roll out a classic :(
Everyone was giving it socks anyway... could have played Crazy Frog and got away with it!

decided to order a cab and then ring in the new year by myself.

so i got to hear the exact tune that i wanted to hear:)

I made a CD on the way out of the house to go to work and arrived in my mates about half nine, put the CD on at 10.45 so that there'd be exactly 5 minutes left of the CD when 12 rolled around and the final song would come on just in time...

    It worked well...

As soon as 12 hit we were listening to the intro of "THE FINAL COUNTDOWN"

I was disgusted, the DJ played that 'Love Generation' song at 12 where I was - I thought they actually put thought into the song that gets played at 12.

Played Mylo's Dr.Pressure next, wouldn't have minded if it was the other way around, that song makes me go mental. :D

    "The final countdown" ... I think :)

I was either played before 12 or just after.. either way it was great fun. We all snook in cheap bottles of champagne into the pub and popped them at 12... The place was destroyed in booze after us lol!

I was in the Sky Bar (think thats the right name) in portlaois, a cool glam rock band played 'dancing in the moonlight, Thin Lizzy' into the new year.
I am a really big Thin Lizzy fan and I couldn't have asked for a better tune. Absolutely Brilliant!!!!

Couldnt hear the band in the pub. Think it was the final countdown but it was hard to tell because the crowd was louder than the band. Not the best new years.
