never heard that before...!!! , no guy wants his girl to look like a hooker... there s a reason why platform boots are also called hooker boots...as i said before it depends on the look of the boot, a classy good quality of boots will look good, cheap shiny ones wont.

what are the ones your thinking of getting look like ?

Got a pair of those myself. Awesome boots altogehter, last for ages. I've got mine about 4 years or so, and I find them quite incredibly comfortable.
