Malaga and surrounds in April?

What would it be like in Malaga/Torremolinos/Benalmadena around the first week of April for a lads' weekend? Would many of the bars be open etc in the resorts, or would it be better to use Malaga as a base (hotel)?

I would say Malaga would be your best bet because Torremolinos wont be exactly that exciting in April. Weather wise it will be prolly be in the late teens to the early twenties.
