They are my favourite 4, i have every single bowie album heard every single trck, think these are the best 4.

I recently aquired his DVD Reality Tour........that is possibly the worst performance of Bowie i have ever seen. The female bassist just ruined it i feel, her voice totally outdid bowies and she just takes away from the original bowie =/

Very hard to say, I'l take a left-field approach and mention the 1975 Philly remix of John, I'm Only Dancing (not relased until '79), anything from Low side 2, Jean Genie from Aladin Sane, and of course The Laughing Gnome!

There's so many though. Heroes, Fashion, Lets Dance, Starman... all great. I'd kill to see him live.

You've got to be joking. She's fantastic for the whole gig and when she takes Freddie's part in Under Pressure she just becomes Goddess like. She's been with Bowie since the the mid nineties I think. Personal favourite of mine is "Strangers When We Meet" from Outside. Not a great album however.

There's so many 'honourable mentions' though...somebody mentioned 5 years and 'lady stardust' and i'd have to agree...I also really like Drive In Saturday, Life on Mars and (if only for the cool rock'n'roll piano right after 'wam-bam-thankyou-mam) Suffragette City.

Am I the only person who really really really likes Absolute Beginners?

Life on Mars would also be my no 1 , I remember it first time around and still sounds as fresh and brilliant now as it did back then .I remember being on a ferry sailing across the Irish sea and saying hello to Rick Wakeman who I remembered played that lovely piano solo on Life On Mars.

Golden Years is the other top Bowie song .....that's also fav and part of the soundtrack to my teen years .
