    Just wondering has anyone from ROI used this website to get a freeview card for C4 and C5.

    Don't know the legality of the service but they will deliver an activate freeview card to anywhere in Europe.

    Only contact is email, no phone or address. The website looks a little bit thrown together also. A bit dodgy imo.

    looks dodgy, youd be better off going on ebay and getting one yourself, by the looks of things, id say thats what the site owner is doing also.

    Shouldn't be too hard to get.

    If you know someone in the UK (or better still northern Ireland) they might be able to get a card - I don't know if they still supply them though.

    Will the £23.50 card work in any Sky box?
    Answer

    The card is activated when first inserted into the box with the serial number you supplied when you ordered the card (or worked out from your previous card details).

    You do not need to connect the box to a telephone line.

    The card will only work in the box with the serial number you supplied, but you can ring the 08700 541800 number (and select option 2) to change the box/card link. The re-authorization signal is sent via satellite.

    That's fine and well if you're from the UK, but I'm from the ROI and I won't be able to get C4 and C5 without a UK card.

    I have ordered 5 cards from freesatcard.com in the last 8 months all delivered ok. The cards were activated before delivery so all i had to do was put them in the decoder and hey presto. Each person I ordered them for are still using them and still very happy.

    PS - they will deliver any where in Europe, and if any problems they email back quite promptly.
