Some of you probably know what I'm talking about having seen them advertised in Flex and the like. They sound like a good idea to me, more testosterone will help with muscle growth. Any stories or advice?

I'm giving you my opinion based on personal experience and that of a guy who trains naturall bbers.

The ones that work are mainstream enough now. The first is tribulus. This works by increasing LH (luteinising hormone) which in turn increases testosterone. I used this when 18 and broke out on my back as well as experiencing increased libido (as if I needed it!). Most who use this find it works fine. You take it spread throughout day with meals.

ZMA is also very good. It's a form of zinc that's bound to magnesium (I think!) that's basically absorbed a lot better than regular zinc. Zinc promotes higher testosterone levels, but can cause drowsiness, so this is taken at nighttime to coincide with the natural increase in testosterone levels. You should take it on an empty stomach and not with anything that contains calcium. Interestingly, it was developed by Victor Conte, of BALCO infamy, so it is coming from people who specialise in such an area as this!

These are the ones I've tried and I know others who have tried them successfully. Putting it as tactfully as I can, you know they work if you're pitching more tents :D

As for all the ones like "legal gear" - basically ones that rip off real steroid names, I'd stay away from them. Prohormones are now banned (in the States, where they were all produced anyway), so any OTC supllements claiming such abilities are going to be a scam. Also most of the companies that make such products are not reputable and aim them at nieve consumers who could confuse names.

If you PM me I have both of the first two for sale, also if you have any specific product to be reviewed throw it to the forum!
