psp firmware

    hey guys newbie here, i got a psp for crimbo, the value pk with the 2.0 firmware, as i had a wireless router set up at home i was able to go online straight away with it, great i thought, and i immiadiatly updated the psp software, thinking it would be like getting windows updates from micro. grand...but after surfing through a few sites i see alot of people looking to downgrade their versions of psp, WHY? any one aware of any must have downloads available, thanks in advance!

    If you downgrade to 1.5 you can run emulators and homebrew (home-made programmes). But seeing as how you've upfated to 2.6 (I assume), you won't have to worry about that because as of this moment there is no downgrader for any version above 2.00

    You can only downgrade from 1.51, 1.52 and 2.0. Anything higher you're stuck with for now.
