Good weight in relation to body weight

    Whats a fairly good weight to be benching in relation to your body weight?
    i.e. 1.5 * bodyweight......2 * bodyweight

    I can currently bench just above my own bodyweight but feel thats not very good.

    Benching your bodyweight is "nuthin to be ashamed of" according to this table

    Not very good? Ouch - I can't bench half my weight, no matter how damn hard I try. Lousy genetics. {Edit: or maybe it takes several years to achieve own-weight presses. Bah humbug!}

    your own bodyweight is very good! i weight 82 kgs and only bench 100kg! lik i think thats good! although i nvr bench realy but its still alot more then most people my age! your own weight isnt bad! dont fret over it!
