    Hello everyone!

I'm just looking for a little bit of advice regarding a Marshal g50rcd amp.

I want to sell mine and I am having difficulty choosing a price for it.

I am thinking around 250 euro...Its hardly used...no wear is visible and its around 3 years old.

What would you pay for it?? (I would appreciate only serious replies coz i'm really stuck on this)

    thanks a million all!!

BTW I will not sell it online...this thread is just to get an average value for my amp.

are you sure that's the correct model? i've never heard of it and can't find out anything about it.

I have heard of it its the predecessor to the mg50dfx. Its only got reverb. If you copied and pasted that would be why it didnt show results should be "marshall" with two l's

i tried two L's too, maybe it's not in production anyone? although it's not on eBay either...

But, if it is a predecessor to the MG series then you won't get much for it i'm afraid.

Check out here for prices people have paid for it and it should give you a good idea what to charge.

I have the G30RCD. Rather nice amps for solid-state.Nicer than the MG's in my opinion, though it may be somewhat biased. i've owned both and I can actually get a decent tone out of the G30, so that's what i prefer. ;)

Unfortunately, solidstate marshall amps don't really hold their value, largely because they're overpriced to begin with. You could easily pick up a reasonable secondhand digital modelling amp of comparable wattage for €250, and that's more or less what you're competing against. Your best bet is the buy & sell, you might find a beginner who doesn't really know where to look for an amp.

Yeah I got my G215RCD about two years ago when the stopped production, last one in Ireland. Couldnt find any info when I looked back then, they are nice amps I doubt you would get more than maybe 200 though
