If anyone remembers the movie LA Confidential....the criminal had the alias Rollo Tamasi, it turned out in the end to the old fella.....very cunning! I used to be called Kyser Soze but it became mainstream and a lot of people spell it differently....Rollo Tamasi is cooler IMO...

Mate of mine had Fajitas one night, his mum made them. Next day (He's a silly kinda guy) he couldn't pronounce Fajitas, and ended up saying "Me mum had Fanjitas last night" and "I was eating me mums fanjitas last night" etc etc... Few days later I was joining a forum. First thing to come to mind really!

Mine comes from Event Match 6 in Super Smash Bros Melee, Kirbys On Parade. The tagline for it is "Look out! A rainbow of Kirbys is after you!" and so I became rainbow kirby :)

I think I'd just watched Gonzo or something or other like that with Zane Lowe presenting it on MTV2 and after that turned on computer, stumbled across Boards, spent ages trying to think of a name, picked my username end of. What's strange on other MB's I have two other usernames which I always use for any MB but for some reason I just picked the one I did after an annoying music show presenter.... ah well. I would have definitely used another name but too many people know me around here as ''Zane'' so I better stick with it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 771 ✭✭✭spiderlegs

So that settles it...you're not actaully Zane Lowe
I used to have thin real long kinda legs. The family were kind enough to give me the nickname.I'm sure it was a term of endearment...not picking fun at me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,440 ✭✭✭✭Piste

I have a Red Hoody (whish is now sitting on my lap) which I got ages ago and wore all the time. I wore it so much that people began to recognise me by it and so started calling me Piste. I stuck with the name online as it's short and easy to remember. Problem is it's quite usual for a French/German/Finnish person to have it so I sometimes have to use variations of it: "Pistie" "Pistette" online.
