    hey i was browsing around my psp home menu and it says you can go on the web on it? i cant go on right now tho because i dont have a wireless connection for my broadband...but is this real internet? as in full access to any internet page? or is it just exclusive game websites like the gay central station on ps2...

    really? thats pretty funky so... its like a laptop but cheaper in my eyes...coz i'd only use a laptop for the internet

    It works properly alright but its a pain in the ass, typing posts/urls as there is no keyboard.

    I thought it would be pretty funky too, but the webpages are very hard to navigate due to the screen, if you have a lot of patience then I'm sure you could get a lot out of it, but I stopped using it after a couple of minutes.

    it's just an extra function. wouldn't expect it to be replacing firefox on your PC (though someone is working on a firefox for PSP)

    its handy in the respect of having that function of a web browser, but if it offered an opera function of zooming out it would be good, plus they may come out with a foldable pda style keyboard (hopefully)

    Reading boards on psp is awful, keeps giving "out of memory" errors (firmware 2.01), but still works, but the pages take aaaages to load. Still handy for a quick google/read the headlines etc.

    yeah i wouldn't whip out my psp for a good browse on boards. news sites and the like are fine

    id say it would be nice when all of ireland is just a big wifi hotspot. And you can use it on the bus to surf !!! as for now, using it at home isnt a big suprise for an average laptop bed user.
