    Well, well, well...

What does everyone think of the decision? Is 10 weeks long enough? And what kind of a reception will he get when he returns?

He'll miss the Ireland and England games, feel a bit sorry for Mike Ruddock, his squad is capitulating.

And does anyone know where I can see a clip of the incident?

All that does is highlight the process is flawed, Henson deserves his ban.

What does he mean by an Irish/English panel on the IRB?

It's a very biased article. While it does highlight inconsistencies in the disciplinary procedures it just sounds like someone with a chip on their shoulder.

Ban is a bit long in my opinion. That article is biased but the point still stands. Worse offences have been given equivalent or less time. The Leicester player also started the incident so is hardly blameless. About six weeks would be fair imo.

    ditto.

TBH, i reckon the ban was too short. The game is hard enough without these types of incidents. Pelous's ban was a joke too.

Remember the claw got 6months for standing on someones head....rugby punishments have never been consistent.

Perhaps, indeed, it is because Henson is not English or Irish, and has this season dared - ill-advisedly - to speak out against both Sir Clive Woodward and Sir Bri- sorry, Brian O'Driscoll in the public eye.

'Criticise rugby's superpowers at your extreme peril' is one unmissable message from this issue.

Wow - we are a rugby superpower now? I must have missed that announcement.

Did anyone actually see the incident? I remember Pelous' incident was discussed here, and it sounded really innocent until I saw the clip. Would be interested to see what the fuss is really about.

OT - Henson also spoke out about his own team in the public eye, so the planet rugby article doesn't make too much sense.
