Hi. I just got a Fat Track digital skinfold calipers (same as this: http://www.fitnessireland.ie/product_info.php/products_id/176) and I'm looking for some tips on how to use it. I've followed the instructions and come up with a body fat % of 17.1%. This seems too far on the low side to me. I have a fair amount of flab on my stomach and a little on my chest. I weight 92 kgs at 6^1 so I am on the heavy side and I've only been weight training for 2 months.

A crappy bio-impedance thing I have gives me a reading of 22 - 27% depending on whether I stand up or sit down or bend forward or . . . . useless gadget!! I was hoping I could get more accurate measurements with the calipers.
