Unholy American Christian Fundamentalism!

I really dislike those American fundamentalist Christians. I was looking into the topic on a search engine and stumbled across this stupid website for some Baptist Church in the States. Their motto is "Unsaved unwelcome. As Jesus commanded". What Bible are they reading? It seems they interpret the Bible the way they want it. Oh and they hate nearly everyone - homosexuals, liberals, non-George Bush supporters, Catholics, Jews, Pagans, Muslims and every other religion than their own! I found it rather amusing as they said children going to a commercial Santa Claus in the supermarket is a sin, they should go to a dude dressed up a Jesus instead for only $48.99 and he is the REAL Jesus?! I don't know what planet they're on!

Here's the website: http://www.landoverbaptist.org/. It is so stupid! Some more examples, "God's top 10 gifts to but for unsaved people" and "Worship our Godly Ruler (i.e. George Bush)". Oh and the most ridiculous is under their beliefs section: General Rules. It shows truly the folly of these people - they need help!

Even we Buddhists have real problems dealing with these types of narrow minded fools.

Bahahahaha! this stuff is priceless! surely this has to be a parody? Visit Jesus instead of Santa - this is great! I want to find this church and attend.

C'mon it can't be serious - there are ads for Jesus thongs on the front page - don't be fooled.

    Landover Baptist is a well-engineered parody website, a bit like http://www.whitehouse.org :)

Knowing it's a parody website, see if you can spot any substantial differences between it and the good folks over at:

'Rocking' Reverend Fred Phelp's endless campaign against homosexuals
Ken Ham's 'Answers in Genesis' on "moral decline"
The Institute for Creation Research on how belief in evolution causes homosexuality
Pat Robertson - pfff, just about anything you'll find on Landover, except Robertson is serious.

...and so on, ad meam nauseam.

While we're on the subject - I came across this definition of atheism here:

"atheism is properly defined as a denial of the existence of God in the midst of full knowledge that the true God does indeed exist"

    Brilliant!

The rest of the article is as warped.

Dang, this guy's great! You gotta love the headling:

"A NOTE FROM SOME LEADING ATHEISTS WHO ARE IN HELL"

...suggesting the existence of a demonic postal service delivering sulphur-tinged, slightly smoking, postcards... :D

    But, oh dear, what's this:

(scroll to the last item) -- Aren't there laws against this?
