Weekend break mid january

Can anyone recommend me somewhere for a weekend break mid january? Was thinking New York is it worth it for a weekend? I won't be finished work til 5 and have to be back in on Monday at 9.

Im going to Prague for a weekend in Jan. Cheap enough flights and accom. Never heard anything but good from other people about the place. A lot less time spent on the plane compared to NY seeing as time is a bit tight
