Interesting omaha hand

Was playing in the 50 all omaha in the fitz last night when this hand came up.
I can't remember the preflop details much. I was in the BB with Kc5c3h7h. There were 7 players seeing the flop for €5, the SB folded.

    Pot: 36 Flop: Jc9c5h

I'm first to act and check. 2nd position bets 15. Called in 4 spots. Its back around to me and I don't see any strength in the calls so I re-pot and try to take it down. Its folded around to the CO who deliberates for a while before calling all in for his last €70

    Turn is Qc. River Ac.

He had Tc8c for the straight flush. I'm not too bothered about losing the pot.

I'm just wondering whether my move on the flop was worth the risk given the number of players in the pot.

In terms of stack sizes, the average stack was about 250ish and the CO was the player with the shortest stack and therefore probably had less folding equity than the rest.

Apologies for the rambly post but thats about the best way I can put it.

    Any opinions?

It's a bit risky to check raise the pot with that amount of callers. I like it more if you have the nut flush draw since you win if a club hits.
When you checkraise you will likely get action from the nut flush draw if it's out there. And you don't have a backhand to rely on.

Yeah I take your point, but I was certain my flush draw was live. Plus the only hands that I felt could have called me were hands that would/should have raised(in most circumstances) the €15 bet in the first place. I was also sure that no-one had a set by the betting patterns before me. I wasn't expecting any callers to be honest but when i was called I was close to 60-40ish in front so it wasnt too bad.
