Prima STT - Payout Query

A quick question for anyone in the know.

On Prima (All-In Poker, etc.) does anyone know what the Payout Schedule for a 5 Seater STT is.

I don't normally play short handed STT's, but I wanted a quick game last night and so played in one of these. I won it, but I thought the payout was less than it should have been.

Support told me that the payout is on a 50:30:20 basis, meaning that 3 places would cash in a 5 man tournament???:confused:

But when you sit down it tells you the expected payout is 66.66:33.33. i.e. 2 places pay.....

Anyone here play in these 5 Seater Tourneys and know the answer??

On the 6 seater ones only the top 2 get paid. I assume it's the same for 5 seater. Something along the lines of 65/35 I think.

They seem to have 2 payout structures that I've come across. 1 Being the 2 player payout and the other being the 3 players. Haven't noticed any distinction between the 2 when selecting other than when you register is lists the payouts. Not much money to be won unless you utilise all 4 tables and place very consistenly.

The 15 seat tourneys are fairly soft here and it's never too difficult to place in the top 3 payouts I've found. Great boost for taking it down too.

Also another question about Prima. What's with the 5 + 50c and 5 + 1 STT tables? There's no difference in structure or payout. So why pay more?

I've noticed that too. I won't pay $1 to the table in a $5 game. Crazy. Certainly doesn't appear to be any differences what so ever. If anyone know's then kindly fill us in

As far as I know, even though it's on the same network, some skins can only see the $5 + 1 games.

Ste, I used to play alot of 5 seater STTs on Ladbrokes.
    Pays 2 places: 70%/30%
    Don't know about other skins.

Also, all the $5 5 seater games there charge a $1 reg fee - same as the $10 games.
A bit expensive for the $5 games alright.

Cheers Lex, I'm in the middle of a "discussion" with All-In support about this. And I just wanted to see if anyone else had had a similar problem.

EDIT: Fair play to All-In support, very helpful and quick. I've been most impressed with them, apart from their initial completely unsatisfactory responses. But if you just keep, telling them what happened, in the end they actually read what you are saying.

As it works out, djkeogh is correct, I'm waiting for their latest response, but I went and looked at all the 5 man tournaments they have and in fact he's right, they do seem to have different pay-outs at different tables, with the same game (NLHE), with the same buy-in. So just another thing to look out for. I can't see why anyone would want to play at a 5 man STT where you only win 2.5 buy-in's if you win (less the reg. fee of course). Maybe people who are very risk averse
