Is there a name for being left footed and right handed? Is there anyone else in the world like this other than me?

I'm sure it's a variant of ambidexterity. Do you find that you're *really* strongly right-handed (like I am for example), or do you only slightly tend to favour your right side?

Actually, the wiki has it under Cross-dominance. It's interesting enough. It's quite probable that you're left handed, and for some reason during your childhood, you were forced to use your right handed, making you stronger with your right hand (or vice-versa).

My girlfriend for example, is partially ambidextrous. When she started in school, she used to write with both hands (use the left hand for the left hand side of the page, and the right hand for the right hand side of the page) - it seemed natural to her. Of course, her teacher was an aging nun who still believed that left-handedness was evil, and would smack her hand with the cane whenever she wrote with the left.
End result: She can't write with her left hand, but can pretty much do anything else with either hand.

Its called being ampidextris, i am the same. Write with my left hand, throw with my right, weird but they say these people are clever :v: .

What exactly do you mean by being "left-footed"?

It means you favour the left foot over the right....eh it's the same as being 'right-handed'
You are stronger with one than the other.

How do you write when snowboarding?

probably means that's she's goofy stance (real name for it).

in board sports having the right foot at the back of the board is called regular and having you're left foot at the back of the board is called goofy.

i'm goofy stance aswell, may explain why i couldn't snowboard for my life.

I don't know if there is a word for it, but I think I'm kind of like that. My right hand is no use to me at all, I'd naturally do everything with my left. Yet when I play football, it is much more natural to kick with my right foot. Over the years I've been able to learn to kick with my left, to the extent that it's not much worse than my right. (though I'm not really very good with either of them:o )

last summer, I had a bike crash and I did in my left arm. It was in plaster for over a month and I tried everything to learn to use my right arm. By the end of the month I was able to manouevre a mouse with my right hand to play a few very slow games of "Free Cell", but as for writing with it, no chance!

Im the very same. I write with my right hand, but i eat like im left handed, prefer the left leg for kicking (in sports, not people :p ) etc etc. No biggie

Like Seamus said, I think it's a form of ambi-dexterity. I used to be left-handed for writing and right handed for everything else so I started wondering if I was ambi-dextrous. I went to a summer camp thing years ago with a table-tennis table and decided to test it out, table-tennis being something I'd never really played before and needing a combination of strength (my right hand) and delicate control (my left). I started playing one game left handed, one game right, and ended up being just as good (or bad) with either hand. I've since been able to use both hands, or feet, equally well for most things. I never really managed to write perfectly with my right hand, but then again, I don't write very well with my left either.
