    Hi people

Serious question - does anyone know of any art classes in Dublin that need males for nude (or clothed) modelling (for drawing classes).

Have checked google.ie but cant find anything.

    Thanks

try emailing or ringing the art colleges, you could also try the trinity artsworkshop.

Ncad would be interested, not sure exactly who to email, but pop into the college (It's on Thomas St.) or have a look about on www.ncad.ie

There's classes on every Mon and Fri evening, about 5 or 6. And there'd be daytime work for block classes too.

Lol, although are you sure your ready to be studied nude by several (quite attractive) fashion students :P

hmm... this sounds interesting! how much do you get paid and is it possible to wear some form of clothes?!

Usually it's completly nude, but it ain't sleazy nude. The students don't really think too much about the model like. Especially when you're doing speed poses (10 - 15 second sketches).

From what I hear, pay is very good. I think it's near teacher pay - 35 quid an hour.

We had a male model once. He got a semi half way through. That said, the chap didn't seem to mind that much.

I think once yer up there, you don't really mind. And its a mostly female student body. I definitly wouldn't have balls to do it though. I guess if you tried it in somewhere like Bray, or out of Dublin, where noone would see ye again, and know if you wanted to do it from that?
