Hi guys.. Just looking for a bit of advice on renting a car over the Christmas period. Anyone used a company that they would like to recommend.
Its worked out quite expensive from the quotes I have been getting.

I was searching round for a quote for car hire in Germany in january. Pigsback.com (via their partner Argus) was cheapest for me. And you get 500 piggypoints if that is your thing (if not, donate them to me!!)

Depends what country you want to rent in and what country you are resident in. If you are a non-resident, you can rent tax free e.g. http://www.danskautorent.com/ are good to use in Denmark. Google for tax-free rentals, or ask the company if they can remove the tax for non-residents

To be honest, nearly any quote you get for the christmas period will be expensive..peak demand and all that !

    Try www.auto-europe.co.uk

When you get to the question of pick-up location / drop-off location, try all possibilities as some work out cheaper than others. (e.g.in dublin, there are 3/4 pick-up locations - I find Haddington Road the cheapest pick-up point)
