Is there a length of time that protein keeps for after first opening it up? Or is the best before date still the guide?

How long before taking the protein shake can I mix it up? Could I mix up a couple in the morning and have them chilling in the fridge for when I get home for example?

    Thanks for your help :)

not sure from when first opened but i presume its till the use by like most powdered products but you cant leave it lying after being mixed as it will start to denature within about 25 minutes esspecially the ones you mix with milk the Whey isolate will last a little longer but not much so your better off mixing it as you need it

Just spend a fiver on a decent MixBoy.......it only takes a few shakes to mix pretty much anything perfectly.

ya as peter says its the leavin' it thats the problem. Goes very acidic very quickly you see chillin it slows this down a bit but generally just bring your whey powder in an old carton or jar and mix it with water onsite. whey better that whey.
