I have the breeze connection with IBB at the moment and I was wondering if it is possible to play games on the web with the PS 2 and IBB!!

If it is possible what is required to set it up??

    Cheers!!

yea, u can plug the cable directly into the ps2, or add a wireless game adapter (linksys have some) if ur using a wireless router. Others have done it before. Search the wireless forum.

I was in Game eariler and I purchased a "Network Gaming Hook-Up Cable" but there is no where for the cable to fit into in the PS 2

Only the newer sml plastations have a rj45.

If is the new one just plug the net work cable into this and have a memory card handy. In the game go to network play and type in the isp settings you got with the connection.... Play. (after stupid amts of loading and what not)

yea if u have the older ps2 you'll need a network adapter. Like this one: http://shop.game.net/ViewProduct.aspx?cat=10314&mid=321116

What i was wondering about IBB and the PS2, my one has a fixed IP, i've never been near the PS2, ntwk setup will it work without putting in the IBB I.P's?

Ye IBB Breeze and ps2 work fine no problem I've connected it directly myself before works great just enter the IP settings given to you by IBB on the ps2.

The way you'd make it work will vary depending on your setup. I don't know how IBB works, but I presume you mean your public IP is fixed? You'll probably have some kind of router that assigns any machines at your location with a private IP address (via DHCP) among themselves, while portraying the fixed public IP to the outside world. This will be the simplest situation. Just plug in your PS2 and DHCP and DNAS will do the rest. Just follow the in-game menus.

If you have a router that does not use DHCP and all your local machines have static private IP address and a static or variable public IP address, then you will probably need to manually assign the PS2 an IP. This can easily be done using the PS2 network setup disc.

Be doing very well to get one of those, if you do let us know what shop.

They were knocked on the head by Sony as the slim had it built in.
