    i myself am looking to do a honours degree in computer engineering next year..

    im just wondering who is lookin to do courses involving some sort of computers..could ya tell us the institute and name of course please in ur posts..

    I am. Computer Science in Trinity, and second choice Computer Applications in DCU (much the same as CS).

    Go for Computer Applications in DCU. Its known as the best computer course in the country.

    yeah computer applications in dcu is probably the best computer software related course..but not hardware

    Why (out of curiousity) is everybody going for DCU?
    I couldn't stick living on that campus all week, you'd never have reason to leave! I mean it's not a bad campus, best facilities in the country, but... Yeah.

    Im doing either MSISS in Trinity, Multimedia in DCU or else a pure computers course in DCU/DIT/UCD. Does anyone know which is the best course for networking?

    Very few going for TCD first choice...! Course doesn't look quite as good as DCU's I guess, but I'm just going for the campus and city centre location I guess.
