I know thats not what its called but does anyone know if this fone is any good?

I got one of the original V3's and while its a bit plain and can be fiddly its a nice fone and does the simlpe things well enough.

Saw the new one on 3 and was thinking about getting it. Anyone have any thoughts?

well im just after finding out of some guy with 'jam' in his name that nokia arnt releasing phones on 3 anymore so im going to go and get this phone instead for x mass so hopefully it will be good.
    specs seem good
anyway im kind of sick of having a powerful smartphone kind of a phone (have a nokia 6600 at the moment) im kind of looking for a stylish phone and preety good specs and this has both.
2mp camera seems cool and all of 3's services also

The browser isn't great. If you try and load *any* pages which have CSS or are script heavy it simply won't display them.

    The included earphones are rubbish.

Aside from that I'm happy enough with it. Voice quality is good and battery life is decent enough..

So far, it seems to be a solid phone, but nothing amazing.

Any Idea how to upload games to it ?
Doesn't seem to be anything available thru 'Multimedia Studio'

I've found out how to upload porn movies though, the quality is excellent :)

Where can you get a 1gig card for peanuts ?

Setanta, As Commander says it's a Motorola however is running of a new Motorola platform which is a bit more reliable than some of their earlier handsets (that wouldn't be hard).

Its still bulky - almost the same thickness as a 6630 when its folded. If you are looking for a good looking 3G I'd hold out for the N70 - which should be on the market next week or so - apparently its in test with VF

I would suggest just getting a media card reader.

20 Euros from Argos, had it a year with no problems.

As for the 1GB aspect, 512MB seems to be the largest size you can get Transflash cards in at the moment.

    The reported 'bulk' : it's a lot less 'lumpy' than a 6630.
