    Hi,
    Firefox does the same thing to every website I make (IE doesn't do it), but I can't work out what is causing it: it displays a small gap under images. Example

    Thanks

    Change your DTD:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en">

    You don't need to change your DocType. Just use this piece of CSS:
    img#topimg {
      margin: 0px;
      padding: 0px;
      vertical-align: text-bottom;
    }

    Thanks for your help :) I don't like having to use 'work-arounds', but I guess I'll have to in this instance.
