In a dark dusky room, five men sit around a round table. They are the elite revolutionaries, united in a mission to promote freedom of speech on the message boards of the Internet. They have been raped pillaged,nd murdered by the oppressive moderators and now believe that the only way to fight this obscene censorship is by violent methods.
Ratboy heads the table, the scar across his forehead tells the tale of his excommunication from Boards.ie, the parting shot by Giblet and the departure of a hero. He’s heavily disguised, he’s in a pensive mood, the wars have hit him hard, his mind in turmoil, he sees the bloodshed, and he has lost his family. He broke his jaw in a confrontation with his estranged wife’s husband over the way he demeans her, forces her to wear a paper bag during sex. Ratboy stands for justice, civil rights and passion.
To his left stands Johhny_Ultimate, a surprising member of this violent and determined group, he has fought the civil war among the rebels and came out victorious. His strengths are in his intelligence, wit and stubborn idealism.
To his left stand Daddio. He puffs away at a cigar. He taps his feet to the rhythm of the jazz playing softly on the stereo. He’s a leader among men, but admittedly a very moderate revolutionary. However he will fight for what he believes in gallantly.
To his left stands Larger Than Life, described as ‘a pain in the ass’ by board’s moderators. This dangerous bastard has killed and will kill again. His beauty is in his passion for the cause. He is the soul of the struggle.
To his left stands MobileInfantry, he’s had his rifts with the other members of the group but that’s just a mark of his courage and refusal to stand for anything but perfection.
On the wall hangs a photo of Braman, tragically killed in battle, shot in the back by Asok after a heroic gunfight with Gordon. A talented and beautiful life cut short by the evil, twisted cowardly moderators.

Meanwhile, in a plush luxurious penthouse suite in an upmarket hotel, Gordon sits on his throne and addresses his lieutenants, Giblet and Seamus. They are discussing a rise in the money for subscriptions, where they’ll exploit more of their devotees just to get access toasite, which plays on the vulnerability of every man, Sex/Sexuality forum. Seamus is absorbing the information and analogueing it to be relayed back to the revolutionaries. He is a spy. His codename is BeefKnife.

During these events, WhiteWashMan, sits at his computer and sobs. He is seeing the cracks of his Internet Empire begin to crumble. He holds a knife to his own throat, but throws it away. He can't commit suicide because of the cowardice that has affected him his whole life. The cowardice that sent poor and defenceless women like NastyGirl and Beruthiel out to war, the cowardice that made him order a Russian bride rather than look for real love, the cowardice that let her go so insipidly even though he loved her, the cowardice that has left him alone, crying like a big baby. Right now his hand shakes as he corrects people’s grammar mistakes.

RuggieBear sits at home, lying on his couch watching the t.v and hugging a beer. He’s a war veteran, a war hero. He is scandalised by the recent oppression by his fellow moderators but he has seen the horror of the trenches and doesn’t want to see it again. His heart is torn in half by the revolution and its sadness.

The point of this post is to point out that we, the heroes of boardsies everywhere, have a responsibility to remain united, to not go into all out warfare, to set an example. Maybe we should let bygones be bygones and let peace be reformed, bring back in the exiled ratboy and reembrace the love and harmony that should be the hallmark of the site. Our youth is being exposed to these immoral thoughts, Aisling is a prime example of this, her post becoming so undignified. TyrranusKyrannus is another casualty; his support of the IRA/Sinn Fein can be stemmed from the bloodshed that he’s seen at such close quarters all over the net.

For the love of god, think of the children and like Primus, kiss the man who killed your son.

otherwise, i thought it was pretty good.

You should have made a "which side are you on" poll.

It's not about sides anymore, it's about unity.

Not if people aren't on your side.

I have an opinion on the matter and sympathise with one area particularly but i am not joining a side to engage in this madness, i am only trying to commentate on its consequences.

You know, there's been people banned in the past, such as Sangre, who have been unbanned by popular demand and gone on to be one of the most interesting posters on boards as a whole, a man who's views I actually enjoy reading.

Ratboy is just another pissant, who I wouldn't like to see back at all, and I'm sure he has nothing of any relevance to offer to anything here on boards.

That's the opinion of the few, but the majority of his posts were quite productive, unfortunately he saw red at times.

actually, most of his posts were just about abusing me, and thats practically a national pasttime these days.

it would have been better if he had actually made some decent insults. his insults were terrible. it reminded me of monkey island.
i would have dueled him off the island his insults were that bad!

Thats an example of a productive post.

Pure and utter drivel. Boards.ie is far better without him.

You have me there, that is certainly a unique insight. I approve.

    hmm, are you sure?

im sure most of his posts were just abuse.

maybe i should have read them?

anyway, this isnt about me or ratboy, this is about your vision.

    please, preach on brother......

i clearly remember deleting abuse from the wiki from ratboy.

so the above is a lie.

Just looking at that link Ratboy agreed with me so he can't be all that bad. What's all this about anyways? Was there a swathe of people banned?

Regi from the International Moderating Comittee, drives through windy road after windy road, he eventually reaches the a warehouse by a sea, somewhere. His blindfold is removed, and he is handed a list of weapons that are to be decomissioned. There are alot of weapons, it looks like a genuine decomissioning of all weapons, but he is not sure. Could they have more? Is it possible that a war that has waged for so long, could have reached this stage of finality? It's so hard to know. They want him to release a statement, describing what he has seen and verifying that the job has been done. He doesn't know what to do, is it too soon to make his mind up? Can he trust them? What will they do to him if he doesn't obey them?

reembrace the love and harmony that should be the hallmark of the site.
I think you're thinking of the wrong site. Boards.ie is founded on fear and oppression. If it wasn't for the fear and oppression there'd be no Boards.ie for you to have your war with, leaving your post pointless and hollow. All that suffering would have been in vain. Face up to it, you need it as much as it needs you.

I notice that one of the poor defenceless women you mention has proven her might in battle with you. Strange, I thought one of my lieutenants would have got there quicker...

Nice post this time Bubbles, your creative side is coming back I see.

Nice interesting post OP :D like the Jazz bit.

Why don't you reinstate him with one last chance? He won't be able to do much wrong because then he'd be banned again permanently. It'd be interesting to have him back.
