TV3 in the UK

    Is it possible to receive TV3 on a UK subscription using the add channells facility.

    nope. it is available only to those with an Irish family package (or whatever the equivilent is called now) and higher

    as far as I am aware, TV3 analogue is on the UHF band.

    I know this is terrestrial but does anybody know would it be gettable in coastal parts of the UK like the way some of us can get Freeview in Ireland ?

    Yes.

    Long ago some folks further inland picked up RTE VHF and fed cable TV with it.

    VHF RTE is good in parts of Wales, Devon and Cornwall. UHF(TG4 /TV3) is more limited
