    Hi
Just wondering, are these available in more than 4/1 ? I'd like to set up with 5 LNB's into one cable, But all I'm seeing when I do a search is 4/1's

    Thanks

    In theory yes.

In practice few receivers support it.

You can check with www.satcure.co.uk for a two way wired control switch (for Digibox actually) and fit this on the 4th LNB position on a "Global" brand 4way Diseqc switch.

    Hi Watty,
Would that require me bringing another cable out to the Dish? The trouble is, there simply isn't room to bring another cable down the conduit, and I've been banned from even thinking about using the drill :)
I suppose I could drop Astra2 from my setup, as it's got it's own cable to my SKY box (FTV card).
Guess I'll have to go Shop in the new year

A very skinny phone wire / bell wire or speaker flex?

If you are using a PC Sat card some software plugins allow cascaded Diseqc switch. An identical 4 way switch on the 4th port of first switch. No extra wires needed.

    Thanks watty
3 cables are pretty much wedged there, barely room for a coat hanger

I'll survive til the New Year. I have loads of french/german stations (19e and 13e) and FTV SKY so I wont get bored.

If you want to get more than 4 LNBFs on a Diseqc switch, the 'traditional' way to do it is to use 2 4x1 switches connected to a 2x1 switch which allows you to have have up to 8 LNBFs. The receiver must be Diseqc 1.1 compatible.

EMP-Centauri make an all-in-one solution using Diseqc 1.2 - Not sure if it can be used with Diseqc 1.1:
