    Bloody ridiculous.

I got my new Xbox 360 (with all the trimmings) from Ranelagh Xtravision the other day. Extremely extremely happy with it (apart from FIFA 06 being scratched the first time I put it in, but they kindly replaced it for me).

But what is with €70 a game! Thats just taking the urine completely. Xbox 360 games on NTSC in the States peak at $59.99 which is like €49.99 or something? Thats some frickin markup?

    Justify this please Irish retailers?

Buy them online at Play.com, you pay just under the RRP for each game and delivery is free.

    Still a helluva difference though.

Sooner the WTO gets their act together and starts culling high import and excise costs, the better!

And who cares about the farmers...

I bought Quake 4 for €52 inc p+p off ebay.

Got Condemned yesterday for €47 inc p+p thanks to the Paypal voucher code in the bargain alerts section.

    Sweet!

It's worth shopping round I suppose. On another note, my girlfriends mother picked up The Incredibles on dvd today in HMV for €39.99. Absolute rip-off. I got her another copy in Xtra-Vision for €17.50 so she can take the other one back to HMV. How do shops get away with this?? The whole Game selling way above the RRP is sickening aswell. I'll never be buying anything with them again.

I know it's going a bit off topic but.....

HMV are the *ULTIMATE* rip off artists. I don't buy anything from them at all.
    Period.

The games are slightly cheaper than Play alright, but they are charging £40 for the AV Component cable and play are only charging £18...

Any Harvey Normans a bit closer to Leixlip/Lucan area?
I have Kameo already, but I'd get PD0 or PG3 for that price, and to anyone who doesnt have Kameo, get it!! :p
