Nemo played his first match for Clontarf J4s on Saturday.

We went down by 3 points (25-22) to Stillorgan in Bird Avenue after deciding to take the scrum option off a penalty in front of the posts with 3 minutes left. A nailbiting finish with 2 mauls collapsed under the posts with insistent claims of try, the ref blew it up to Stillorgan's relief.

Nemo played his first game, and despite me telling him he'd be on for 15, we required him to last the 80 which he managed without problem. Hope you enjoyed it Derrick.

    Al.

    Trojan,

I heard a rumour that the referee delivered a lecture before the game - is this true?

Where are you based? Seapoint are near enough to Stillorgan (Killiney / Ballybrack) if that is handier
