Trouble with NTL box

    Hello all,

    Apologies if this has been dealt with before. I have NTL bb which is superb and 3 of the little silver NTL boxes installed last August.

    Every two days or so one of the boxes will give the "there seems to be an error with your card" message. When you take the card out and re-insert it, all returns to normal. Also, occasionally when it is in this grumpy mood it will give the "sorry you are not subscribed to this channel" message.

    Is this unique to me (I suspect not) or is it some sort of software glitch in these little boxes.

    No it happens to most of those small boxes at some stage.
    Yeah it's a glitch alright.
    NTL working on it.

    Yes, happens to me too and it is very annoying as I use NTL with a TiVo PVR for recording, so I sometimes end up of recordings that are only this message :mad:

    Unplug the box to get the software upgrade.Supposed to sort out this problem.
