Fecking Halo

I've been playing CoD2 online all night and it's a damn fine game, problem is I'm rubbish at it! I've yet to come anywhere but last every time I play. I'm blaming it on all the people who've been playing Halo on Live for years. CoD2 is the first console FPS I've actually liked enough to take online (I did clear Halo 1 and do some of Halo 2 before getting bored on a borrowed xbox just to see what all the fuss was about) so I guess I've got a lot of catching up to do!

Might go back to some reassuring games of PGR3 where I can actually keep up with people.

When it gives you the option to play for fun or go to rankings mode go into play for fun.

I played a few games of it yesterday and it seems a lot easier.

I don't understand the rankings system in the game, how do you know where you rank? What does winning a deathmatch get you?

I just wish I could use my mouse with that game. Getting my ass whooped is not good as I do the whooping when I use my keyboard and mouse on my PC! ...still it's a top notch game.

most times I try to play PGR3 online I get a error saying it cant connect with all players or something.

i should be playing my first ever online console game on monday night. CoD2. im also very bad... trying to go from counterstrike on a pc to CoD2 with a controller. not easy...

haven't tried it but maybe you can plug a standard usb keyboard and mouse in? the 360 is just a PC basically...

AFAIK you can plug a USB keyboard into the 360 but it only works on the kernel prompts such as entering your IP addy or your DNS on the dashboard when setting up LIVE.

Head over to www.xbox-scene.com forums they have a list of compatable keyboards and other devices that can be plugged into the USB ports on the 360.

i threw a few mp3's on a usb memory key thingy, and stuck it in 360, worked grand.
