won the $3 rebuy on PPP tonight, get a 27inch LCD TV as well as the cash!no idea what the TV is or what its worth etc but stil, for $12 it wasnt bad. For ne1 interested ill put something on my blog in day or 2

Nice one! Its always nice to win something other than cash. I won a video ipod at my Christmas party in the Merrion the other night. I've never had much of an interest in ipod's, but I'll take that anyday!

Does anybody else think that boast threads should be allowed in the main poker section? I don't see a problem with people letting everyone know they've had a good result, and I like to hear about other's results without having to navigate my way through 200 pages of roryc's bad beats. I'd be inclined to agree. While i think nobody wants to hear anybody else's bad beat stories, i do like hearing about other peoples success and achievements at poker. Plus, there's more likely to be congratulatory replies to threads like these, which would just clog up the sticky.

Don't think there's any problems with posts like this where people have won a tournament or something. Other types of boast threads will be merged, I'm thinking something like 'good beats' where hero won a big pot against villain but nothing genuinely interesting happens.

I agree with you Daithio, regardless of what I said.

Let's just say im fairly surprised my previous post made any sense and had no massive spelling or grammar errors.

I like to see milestone/tournament winning/tournament report posts but the 'yipeeeeeeeee!!' posts should be merged.

I love to see winning threads in the main poker forum, its nice to see positive results by players who are members of Boards, thats what the game is all about, winning!

well done willis, i've only played in one of these which was for a 42in plazma came 3rd and I dont think ive ever been as gutted going out 3rd in a tourney haha. Funny the difference when the actual prize wasnt about the cash.....maybe it was the thought of big screen p0rn :eek:
