HAHA, jesus man, look at the state of that post. Yeah you're drunk alright and fairly lightweight. I drink that before I go out, because I've been drinking far too much for too long. Don't be ashamed of being a "lightweight", getting drunk without drinking too much is much better for your health.

I've had six cans of Budweiser and my grammar is impeccible (probably spelt that wrong!)

Happy Christmas everyone by the way!

Hmmmmmmmmm, your right i'll need to get locked before i can find out if i'm a heavy or light.

Apparently, in Russia if you can't sit down and drink a bottle of vodka, yer not a 'man'

If you're gonna go get locked, make sure you've some good friends about, to pick you up. It'll sneak up on ya when ya least expect it :P

If you can drink a full bottle of absinthe without waking up in a river bed then you can call yourself a 'heavey' weight.

I start drinking at 14.30. I drink two Stellas, followed by three dutch Gold. I then eat dinner at 18.00, and afterwards have three more dutch gold.

then go out and drink four more pints. Im pretty light.. that's all i take

Bear in mind that you most likely had a huge feed of Turkey and Ham before you started drinking.. I could probably drink that much after a big dinner and be fine and Im a girl... That much drink on an empty stomach on the other hand and id be fairly locked...

that's quite a lot of drink, unless you ate a lot beforehand.

went to a friends wedding last july.
had five pints before the ceremony. got a couple of hamburgers on the way back from the church then drank a couple of pints of water when i got home. went to the reception a couple of hours later (about 4pm, can't really remnember) for the meal. ate quite a lot and drank water with it. then i drank pints until 4 the next morning. i was drunk, but still coherent.

sometimes i'll go out and be **** faced on six pints.

Lightweight I would think. I'm 18 and last night I had 6 cans a shoulder of vodka and two pints. Being a lightweight is a lot better, it's so expensive to get drunk at this stage.:(

Used to be a heavyweight. There's nothing quite like finishing a bottle of spirits to yourself. Especially if its wild turkey. NYOM!

Not so much any more though, haven't really drank much in the past four months. I can actually feel it after a few beers. Before this I wasn't able to get drunk from beer, I'd feel nauseous before I'd feel pissed.

Used to be a real heavyweight [well for a teenage girl anyway] now i'm such a lightweight its unbelievable! On a relatively empty stomach i was tipsy after two pints of bulmers!! oh well at least i'm a cheap date :v:

Lol, same here. I usually drink a shoulder of vodka before headin out then an assortment of other crap from there on. By the time i'd come out of the nightclub i'd be fairly sober.
On a Sunday i'd sit in the pub for the day havin pints of the black stuff (bout btwn 7-10) and go home twisted!
One thing i have noticed and tis strange, i will only ever reach a certain state of drunken-ness, if that makes sense, after that no matter how much i drink i don't really get drunker, lol. Like when i go out, pub night club, back to house party and drink like a loony but never seem to get even worse.:D

Wanna go for a pint in scraggs or tullys some day :v:

Last night i had 5x Guinness, 1x Naggin of Southern Comfort, 6x Double Jack's

Used to be a real heavyweight and could drink the blokes under the table. They didn't get much return trying to ply me in drink.

Since I've had my children I don't drink much, I'm now such a lightweight, more like feather weight. :o

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 765 ✭✭✭Smurfpiss

I'm definately a lightweight. I'll get drunk in no time, but the interesting thing is I dont seem to get any worse after that. Aside from bad dancing and being a little woozy once i get pissed i really handle my drink well! no vomiting, passing out, agression (not i didnt rule out being sleazy.... but hey nobody is perfect!)

I'm the worst f*ckin eegit for drink.

Drank a bottle of Malibu and half bottle of peach schnaps the other night was hyper ventilating within an hour then drank vodka could barely get out of bed at all yesterday and was only just able to get up again now. :(

It all depends on how drunk you're talking. I'm quite light but, then I'm only 9.5 stone. If I was a heavier weight, then I'd be heavy-ish. But I don't like getting too drunk too. I always like to be in control and be able to speak coherently (Ironic seeing as I have a stutter, but it's difficult to explain).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,231 ✭✭✭✭Sparky

i dont drink that often but i do make up for the space in between, so id say im only a lightweight.
Oldyellar will let you know what im like.

I'm 14 but It used to be that if i knocked them back i'd be tipsy on around 5 bottles of bud no I can't last till around 12

That's good, because ya don't want ta end up like me not being able to breathe after drinking at the age of 21.

I hate beer with a passion so I always have to drink spirits.

Last night I drank one of those big Smirnoff Ice bottles, a vodka cruiser, a twister shot, and 8 apple sours.

I was fairly drunk on that. Some nights I drink way more and am grand, other nights I'd drink less and still get a bit drunk.

    I'm not very consistant.

Although one thing I'm proud of is I never get hangovers. I went to sleep last night after drinking the above at 5am. Woke up at 9am, no hangover and have been on the go since. Getting a bit tired now though. :D

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 5,154 ✭✭✭Oriel

It's all about time though too. I could drink a bottle of wine over 3 hours and start to get tipsy. Try that in one hour and it would be a little different...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,915 ✭✭✭Siogfinsceal

depends wat you drink n how often. i used to drink everyday as part of work so after a year i could not get drunk. Now I will get drunk after a good few. Depends though I never drink beer so three beers and id b wasted yet 6 vodkas and id b grand. Worst I ever did was 8 vodkas, 5 tequilas and a bottle of champagne - felt awful!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,382 ✭✭✭petes

    I don't count.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,915 ✭✭✭Siogfinsceal

i wasnt counting i was told my a more sober person who was there.....

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 304 ✭✭dahooligan

My record was 22 pints of guinness on a match day - but I have also been f*cked after 3 pints of Stella of an odd occasion.. and I always always get a hangover unless I drink something with redbull at the end of a night out. I am a middle weight + -

dahooligan does not condone the drinking culture and would distance himself from alco's.. unless they were to offer him a pint.
