Some people moved in to a house across the street. Seems to a nice enough family. The Dad is from New York and works in the construction industry and has a hiace pick up van.

About 2 weeks ago he left a crowbar in the back of it. Some knackers broke in to his house with the crowbar and threatened the family while they made away with what ever.

Was walking by his house yesterday. He now has an axe in the back of his van. This is just looking for trouble be it from more would be robbers or some pissed gob****e!

Is it ok to have an axe like that on public display? The local cop had a word with him but to no avail.

Maybe he is planning the murder of his entire family. Think about it, the guy planted the crowbar then used an accomplice to break into his house with it, now he leaves an axe there so some 'mysterious' robber will steal it, break into the house, chop little Jimmy's legs off, lop off the old woman's head and he'll be the sole survivor....

Yes, yes, that has to be it.

If this happens I'll no where to start looking for the accomplice!

I like the idea that whatever is left in the back of the van is used against the family.

Maybe he could leave some flour, sugar, eggs, butter, milk and yeast in the back of the van and someone might break in and make them a nice cake.

Or maybe he's a typical New Yorker and the axe is an invitation for the same guys to break in again only to be faced with the double barrells of a pump action shotgun?
