GFX 5950Ultra 256mb AGP

    oh Ok

    I have an Nvidia 5950Ultra 256mb AGP, but it has started to play up , It works fine with the power connector from the supply removed , but when I plug it in nothing....anyone any ideas...if its just a part ie , Transistor or such I have the facilities to replace it , just want to know if any one has had a simular problems and what the cause might be

    When you say "Nothing", you mean that the computer beeps a bit and doesn't boot up?

    Sounds like the Power Connector either on the PSU or the graphics card is faulty..

    When I have the power supply connected to the gfx card, the system boots just no display , when I remove the power supply from the gfx card the system boots and the display works

    doesnt make much sense but thats what its doing
