here's a bit of a poker riddle for you.

Mr. Jones, an avid holdem player, and had enough of being outdrawn. He was so annoyed about being outdrawn that he decided it had to stop. So he found 2 hole cards with which he was least likely to be outdrawn with and went all-in preflop with them. His plan was foiled though and he was in fact called and outdrawn.
What did Mr. Jones and his out-drawer hold?

72o vs 72o his caller hit a four card flush. and he is least likely to be outdrawn because he is behind most of the time.

I've prob read this wrong but...,Is the answer ?
He went all-in with 23o as this is the hand with which you are least likely to be outdrawn (as it is not possible for you to be ahead pre-flop so therefore you can't be outdrawn).

But his opponent also had 23o and hit a flush ????????????

    Edit.
23 cant be outdrawn, so the answer is that 24o got outdrawn by 23o ??

Getting out of a taxi after a tournie the other night, the driver read me the fare "Fourteen fifty please" and without thinking about it I said "Lets make it fifteen hundred."

Then we both stared at each other in silence for a moment, blinking.

Wrong thread but it would be great if the driver folded. Free journey! :D:D

ArmaniJeanss, you were right with 23o.
I'd say if you had 23o and were against 23o (or 23s) and they hit a flush it would be considered an outdraw.

23s beating 23o would not be an outdraw, as the 23s is ahead preflop.

2c3s beating 2d3c would be an outdraw, because it is behind preflop. I'd say this is the right answer.
