    What type of game exactly is it?MMORPG or just plain action game?

    I've often wondered. That said, you'll probably get a much better response in the Games forum.

    If anyone happens to know, please inform us, as I am banned from that particular domain. Would never normally consider purchasing any sort of roleplaying game, but Star Wars.....might make an exception!

    Galazies is indees an MMORPG and it is some game. I would recomend getting the starter kit first and then go by what you prefer to play, e.g Space flight "Star wars galaxies: Jump to lightspeed" or .....actually your better off getting "Star wars galaxies the total experience" It has most of the expansion packs for every type of gameplay. Hope this is of some help to you.

    Hi all,
    I played SWG for over a year and am just after cancelling my account. It WAS an excellent game but recent changes/upgrades have left it deserted. Check the SWG official forums for more info (note most of the anti-swg topics have been removed but you still get a feel or what is going on).

    It could have been great...they released it and it was okay, got better, stayed at that level for a while and then they f*cked it up completely.
    Don't waste your time.
