Hey, my parents live ina big old house which must have titanium walls because the reception is crap. They have tried o2 and vodafone phones but never had any better reception. Is there a way of boosting this reception, maybe a signal booster they can buy? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try the other phone companies, you haven't mentioned meteor or 3.

Check out www.siteviewer.ie , It will show you the phone masts near your house.

Another option you have is to use a bluetooth car kit installed in the house. A bit messy but it would definately improve your phone signal.

    Good luck
