Do not buy DVDs or CDs in Dunnes Terryland

I used to work there and believe me when I say that the DVDs and CDs are scratched to innocence! They are taken out of the boxes and put into a drawer in cut off paper wine bags. They are constantly falling out into the drawer. The amount of times people have come back into the store saying that their DVD/CD won't play at all is unbelievable and it's very difficult to find a non-scratched one in the store-room. Some are so scratched that the underside doesn't even reflect anything!

yes and certain tescos too do the same
some have them inside plastic security cases
and some put them inside sleeves and i paid 28yoyos for one and it was scratched as feck
needless to say i brought it back and havent bought there since
i usually try virgin and hmv and look for them in plastic
we buy dvds for them to last a long time.
    rant over
