That mild spell wasn't as so mild after all. Only one day, Saturday 10th managed a double figure temperature with 12.0c recorded here. It dashed the hopes of a month long record of single figure maxima here though. It was early-mid November since a above 10c temp was recorded on my outdoor temp gague.

Only 2 ground frosts so far this month, 22 in November, so has been above average temp with me so far this month. 4 days into double figures (max 13.4C), and today will probably just make it to double figures as well. Another 5 days above 9C.

I think that diurnal range will generally be small for next week because of cloud cover, tonight will see a good frost though.

As for Nov, only 8 days failed to reach double figures, and the month as a whole was still above average.

Yes Mothman often has a frost when I dont and vice versa.
He'll probably tell you himself that he lives in a frost hollow/pocket.
It's also a bit of a daytime heat pocket where he lives.

I tend to be generally a degree colder in the daytime-which was enough(along with some height) to make the difference between having snow here3 weeks ago and mothman having sleety rain.

just looking at todays figures even.
My max today was nearly 2 degree's colder than Mothmans.

He maxed at 10.1c whereas mine was 8.9 at midnight last night.

I think the highest that I saw it was today during daylight hours was about 8.6

    Currently 7.6c
